William Lee (1771 – 1840)
Row 8. This stone is for my GGGG Grandfather, William Lee. It has fallen over and lies on the ground. On top is the Masonic emblem. The stone reads: William Lee Died June 1, 1840 Aged 69 Yrs & 10 Ms.
Next to him is buried, his wife, Mary Summers Lee.
Row 8. Mary Summers Lee was my GGGG Grandmother. Her stone is being weathered away. The inscription says: Mary, Wife of William Lee, Died May 8th, 1860, Aged 86 Yrs.
In 2017, the Farmington Historical Society and the Farmington Genealogical Society jointly took on the project of cleaning up and restoring the grave sites in the Quaker Cemetery. The following are the result of that project:
